The UIL have announced new information following games that have been affected by winter weather over the course of the week.
With delays come changes to certification dates on both boys and girls playoff rounds.
In certain situations, rounds may be completed on consecutive days.
For teams that have experienced delays in the playoff rounds may be required to complete three rounds in a week to get back on schedule. For those teams unable to complete the bi-district round by February 20, four rounds will be needed to complete in a week.
With the adjusted schedules and difficulty of finding venues, it is common for teams to share venues. The flexibility of sharing venues is set for teams to complete multiple rounds. With COVID-19 restrictions, the maximum amount of teams at one venue is four. This only applies for schools who are looking to combine playoff rounds.
