Plano hire internally

Many indicators were shown as Plano were planning to hire internally and the move was made official on Thursday, May 7.

Kelly Stallings, an assistant under former coach Rodney Belcher, was promoted to head coach, according to the Dallas Morning-News.

Stallings was a part of the state title team back in 2018 and will look to continue the rich tradition in the program.

Brownsboro bring in a familiar name

With Tony Wood announcing his retirement after two seasons at the helm, we were the first to report that there would be an indicator of a familiar name from Tyler coming in.

Jeremy Durham comes in from Tyler Chapel Hill after 11 years and returns to his alma mater, where the Bearettes return all five starters for the coming season.

Natalia make their hire

Natalia bring in Steven Sprangler to the helm as he replaces Doug Lum, who departed to Orange Grove for the head girls basketball position.

Denison’s Been resigns

Rod Been has been heading the Lady Jacket program since 2012 and confirmed to TXHSGBB that he has resigned from his post, pursuing other opportunities.
