Five teams have appealed their district placement after the release of the biennial realignment and reclassification on Feb. 2 to the UIL district assignment appeals committee.

Pawnee was placed in the same district they are currently in after the Feb. 2 realignment release. With their appeal, they are requesting to move to 30-1A, which resides Moulton, Austwell-Tivoli and Runge headlining the district.

Meyer look to move back into 2A, as they were bumped up to 3A as they submitted an enrollment of 245 but elevated to 3A by policy.

It could be likely that if Meyer’s appeal is approved, they could be placed in 17-2A with Bosqueville, Crawford and Hico being the heavy hitters.

Cumberland Academy have struggled in 4A the past two season and with their appeal to 13-3A, they look to be more competitive in a district that resides Sabine, West Rusk, Tatum, Troup, Arp and Winona.

San Antonio charter schools Great Hearts Monte Vista and Great Hearts Northern Oaks have appealed to move to 27-3A, which could have a total of nine teams, if approved.
