After the announcements of no tournaments and more individual game limit bumped up to 27, more announcements came from the gym capacity and transfer rules for athletes.

There will be a maximum capacity of 50 percent capacity for all gyms in the state. However, COVID-19 procedures are left in the hands of the host school of the respective game.

Athletes who could be potentially affected by a school district that might cancel all or a portion of the season, all eligibility, transfer and residency rules will still apply for those who will be seeking to transfer.

Of note, playoff qualifiers remain the same, unless circumstances prevent this from happening and a reduction might take place.

The UIL is currently trying to keep winter and spring schedule intact with the state tournament and championships in the normal times.
