Alvord 84, Collinsville 25

ALVORD — Tawni Hamilton tallied a team-high 18 points while Rachae Fowler added 16 as the No. 9 Alvord improved to 12-2 and 3-0 in 13-2A with a win over Collinsville, 84-25 on their respective home floor. The Lady Bulldogs will now travel to Tioga prior to the Christmas break.

Denton Guyer 72, Prosper 53

PROSPER — Bella Earle paced all scorers with 25 points and Evie Goetz added 17 as Denton Guyer (9-4, 2-0) improved to 9-4 on the year and 2-0 in district play with a win over Prosper (4-8, 0-2), 72-53. KK Jones added 10 points in the win along with Mariah Watson, Eryka Patton and Hailey Mason finding the scoresheet on the night. Bowden Janeck had a team high for Prosper, scoring 14 points.

RICHLAND — Jordyn Joseph recorded a team-high 11 points for the Lady Royals that gave an extra push for Richland to top Denton, 37-28 in a District 6-5A victory. Maiya Stovall added seven points with Sara Savage chipping in six points.

For Denton, Seimone Griffin added nine points in the winning effort. Maggie Wainscott contributed with six points.

GRAHAM — Mya Wesley led the No. 6 Honeybees with 12 points with Stephenville overcoming upset-minded Graham, 44-40 for a tough road victory. Jaylee Matthews chipped in eight points. Alee McClendon added seven points in a winning effort.

Kate Gober led all scorers, with 16 points for the Lady Steers.

The Honeybees will entertain Azle on Monday, December 21 at 2:15 p.m.

COLLEYVILLE — Jorja Elliott record a game-high 16 points along with Mackenzie Buss close behind with 15 points as Lake Dallas (10-4, 2-0) picked up a District 6-5A victory over Colleyville Heritage, 60-36.

Bailey Broughton and Altyn Bartley added eight points apiece in the win. Camryn Richardson tallied five points.

Colleyville Heritage were led by sophomore Emi Steele, who recorded 14 points as a team high.
