The new districts were released back on Monday, February 3 and four teams will appeal in front of the UIL Appeals Committee on Tuesday, February 25 at 9 a.m. at the Courtyard Marriott in Pflugerville.
Schools have the opportunity to appeal and the UIL hears their cases on why the respective schools are making their decision to make a change in the district.
A team can appeal as long as they received a majority vote from their original district that they were placed in on realignment day.
A total of four schools will appeal their respective basketball district.
