Two girls players from the Lone Star State will be taking part in the McDonald’s All-American Game in Houston on April 1.
Announced on ESPN’s NBA: The Jump, Duncanville’s Deja Kelley, a North Carolina signee, and Irving MacArthur’s Hannah Gusters, a Baylor signee, were selected to the 24-player roster.

Guster’s teammate, Sarah Andrews, also a Baylor signee, did not make the final roster.

Kelly becomes the fifth Duncanville player to have the honor to play in the All-American game since Zarielle Green back in 2018. Gusters is only the third player for MacArthur to have the honor to play, since Alexis Jones back in 2012, who is now in the WNBA playing for the Los Angeles Sparks.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 at 4 p.m., with the boys’ games to follow at 6 p.m.
