Notes: The inside-out game for Idalou will be key, with Taylor Houston being the main threat in the interior. Senior guard Heard, sees play more as a guard rather a post and has long-range shooting capability. The length will be key in full court press situations for a team that is hard-nosed defensively.
WINNSBORO LADY RAIDERS
Coach: Robert Cochran
Record (District): 31-5 (12-0)
Key players: 6-2 Jr. F/C Faith Acker, 5-7 Sr. G Haleigh Risner, 5-6 Sr. G Halle Darst, 5-5 Sr. G Reese Lindley
Last state appearance: 2020
State titles: 3 (1999, 2000, 2001)
Notes: Acker will be the main key playmaker in the interior as foul trouble will need to be at a minimum in order for the Lady Raiders to punch a ticket to the state title game. Darst went off court in the regional final with an injury and could see limited minutes in the state tournament. Currently riding momentum off a hard-fought victory against Edgewood, the Lady Raiders are feeling good about themselves in their recent games.
FAIRFIELD LADY EAGLES

Key players: 6-0 Jr. G/F McKinna Brackens, 5-10 Sr. F/C Breyunna McDowell, 5-11 Jr. G Shadasia Brackens, 5-6 Soph. G Charlee Brackens

State titles: 1 (2020)
Notes: Fairfield have blown past their opposition so far this season with the help of the Lady Eagle athleticism, their ability to run the floor and the play of the defense. McKinna Brackens has the help of two sisters, Shadashia and Charlee, the new addition to the roster. McDowell was also a part of the 2020 state title team that defeated Argyle in one of the best games in state title game history.
BISHOP LADY BADGERS
Coach: Sherry Luna
Record (District): 33-6 (14-0)
Key players: 5-11 Sr. F/C Maya Martinez, 5-10 Soph. G Logan Borchardt, 5-10 Sr. F/C Katie Winters
Last state appearance: 2020
State titles: None
Notes: Size will be a big factor for the Lady Badgers and Borchardt, a transfer from Santa Gertrudis Academy, has turned heads with her play and has a high ceiling for the future of her playing career.
