2A Region II realignment recap: Lipan remains the team to beat

Lipan look to dominate the region, with three all-region players from last year with Taylor Branson, Chelsea Lott and Lyndsey Little returning to lead the Lady Indians to what aims to be a state tournament run after missing out last year.

The region loses its firepower and depth with many teams graduating heavy for the upcoming season as the main question will be who can contest with Lipan for the regional title?

9-2A

Nocona drop down from 3A and will be a very tough out for many teams in the district as Archer City graduate heavy and will be rebuilding. Windthorst have a solid core returning that could possibly make a district title run in the upcoming season.

Cisco will be the main team to watch with all-region player Justice Fox will be one of the key playmakers for the Lady Lobos in the upcoming season along with a solid core returning for the team.

Lipan look to return to the big stage in 2022-23 after falling to Stamford in the regional final. Tolar graduate their experienced lineup and will look to rebuild after challenging Lipan for the district crown last year.
